Contracts to Expire in June

Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) has officially announced the departure of seven professionals whose contracts will expire in June. The club has expressed its gratitude for their contributions and wishes them well in their future endeavors.

The departing players include:

  • Defender: Christian Fuchs
  • Defender: Yohan Benalouane
  • Midfielder: Andy King
  • Midfielder: James Maddison
  • Striker: Jamie Vardy
  • Striker: Islam Slimani

These players have been integral members of the LCFC team, helping the club achieve significant success in recent years. Notably, they played a key role in Leicester City's historic Premier League title victory in 2016.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers said, "We would like to thank all of these players for their dedication and hard work during their time at the club. They have been a pleasure to work with, and we wish them all the best in the future."

The club is expected to announce replacements for the departing players in the coming weeks. Leicester City will begin their Premier League campaign on 9 August against Manchester United.
