Arriving in Brussels Airport?
A good idea is to grab the train to the city center which only takes 20 minutes. You can get a direct train that takes you to Brussels-Central or Brussels-Midi/Zuid stations. Tickets can be purchased at the airport train station and cost around 9 euros. The trip to the city takes about 20 minutes.
If you’re traveling on a budget, you can also take the bus to the city center. The bus takes about 30 minutes and costs around 6 euros. Tickets can be purchased at the bus stop.
Arriving in Charleroi Airport?
Which is about 50 km south of Brussels, you have a few options for getting to the city center. You can take the train, the bus, a taxi, or rent a car. The train is the fastest and most convenient option and takes about 1 hour. The bus is a cheaper option but takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. A taxi will cost you around 80 euros and will take about 1 hour. Renting a car is also an option, but it’s not necessary if you’re only staying in Brussels for a short time.
