Athletes Gear Up for Final Milestone in Olympic Journey
On 26 July 2024, the world will gather in Paris to celebrate the best of the best at the Olympic Games. The Olympic Qualifier Series 2024, launched by World Athletics, will mark the final stage in athletes' journeys toward this prestigious event.
Athletes will have two paths to qualify for Paris 2024. Fifty percent of qualification places will be based on World Athletics Rankings, while the remaining 50% will be earned through the Olympic Qualifier Series events.
The series will feature 23 women's events, 23 men's events, and two mixed events, including the highly anticipated 4x400m mixed relay. To assist athletes, media, and fans in tracking the qualification process, World Athletics has introduced an online tool called Road to Paris 2024.
